Four months later he was dead. This ‘healthy baby boy’ was placed with two men, who surely must have been a minority when compared to opposite sex couples hoping to adopt. Today, those men go on trial for the sexual assault of this poor child and one for murder. The court was told the baby was “ill-treated, sexually abused and physically assaulted.” The placement of this child by social workers will have been to fulfil ideological reasons and not in the interests of the Preston Davey who suffered 40 traumatic injuries over four months.
